Djolt den Hartogh
The concept of Codeso Costa Rica, was initiated by Djolt den Hartogh, a Dutch artisan woodworker. Codeso strives for a sustainable balance between using wood for building and furniture and the production of wood in a nature friendly way.
Djolt den Hartogh(1974) studied at the Amsterdam School for Wood and Furniture.
In the year 2000 he started his woodshop in Costa Rica.
With fairly humble means he works the wood he has been collecting. Inspired by the craftsmen of the old days and the natural suroundings.
